A minimum of 2 weeks notice is required for celebration cakes and a minimum of 2 months notice is required for wedding cakes. Orders will not be accepted under 5 days notice for celebration cakes and under 2 months notice for wedding cakes.
We recommend enquiring as early as possible, particularly for weddings and peak celebration dates.
Yes. All cakes are designed to order. Inspiration images are welcomed to guide the design process; however, each cake is created in line with Shan’s Delights’ signature style rather than replicated exactly.
Pricing is bespoke and varies depending on the size, design, and level of detail required. A personalised quote will be provided following your enquiry.
Yes. A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your date. The remaining balance must be paid in full by the agreed date prior to collection or delivery.
Yes. Cake tasting boxes are available to purchase for £28.
All cakes are made in a kitchen that handles common allergens, including gluten, dairy, eggs, nuts, and soy. While care is taken to minimise cross-contamination, we cannot guarantee that products are completely allergen-free. Therefore, we do not cater for allergeis or dietary requirements.
Once a cake has been collected or delivered, responsibility passes to the client. Shan’s Delights cannot be held responsible for damage caused after the cake has left our care.
Yes, inspiration images are welcome and help guide the overall aesthetic. Final designs will align with Shan’s Delights’ style and creative approach. We do not copy designs that are not our own.
Yes, Shan’s Delights may photograph cakes for portfolio and marketing purposes. Client details are never shared without consent and cakes which include photographs are not published.
Any changes must be requested in writing and are subject to availability. Additional charges may apply depending on the nature of the change. Changes within 5 days of collection or delivery will not be accepted.
